The company name Lillunn was the nickname of the Lillun founder Unn Søiland as a little girl, it means «Little Unn». This was later the name she used as a Norwegian mannequin in Paris and London. Moving back to Norway she decided to use this name for her company designing and exporting Norwegian handknits. Today the company still carries a selection of heritage patterns in a range made in woven blankets.
