During springtime and early summer we have schools of orcas patrolling the inner side of the Lofoten shoreline, families with young ones and their parents. They are traveling in a big circle in the Vestfjord chasing schools of hering. Majestic animals, free and wild – just like Lofoten.
The orca, also called a killer whale, is a toothed whale belonging to the oceanic dolphin family, of which it is the largest member.
Our orca is made of 100% polyster plush, a very cozy and sweet stuffed animal.
