Poster, stockfish in Lofoten

Stockfish has been produced in Lofoten for over a thousand years. The fish is air-dried on wooden racks, called hjeller, using only the wind and cold Arctic air. This traditional method preserves the fish naturally, creating one of Norway’s most famous export products.
